- Student Visa

A visa is needed by all international students who wish to study for longer than three months in Canada . Students must apply for a Student Authorization at a Canadian embassy or consulate before they leave for Canada. Authorization usually takes from 1 to 3 months to process. It is important that you plan ahead.
To apply for a Student Visa, you will need:

When international travelers arrive at Pearson International Airport in Toronto , they are given a Port of Entry stamp on their passports. As a visitor, you are permitted to stay for six months.
Students from countries participating in the Working Holiday Visa program are eligible to study full-time or part-time at Cornerstone Academic College for up to 3 months. Application for Working Holiday Visa can be made at Canadian consulates or embassies in participating countries.
Visa extensions are given to eligible students on an individual basis upon successful completion of their programmes. Each applicant must meet with a CAC counselor for consideration.
