Cornerstone’s Teaching English to Young Children course is aimed at non-native speakers of English who would like to prepare themselves to teach young children in their home countries.
The course runs for 4 weeks (114 hours), and includes observation of children’s classes being taught at Cornerstone, as well as a practice teaching component, also held at Cornerstone. The course will cover the theory necessary to effective and informed teaching, but will focus as much as possible on the practical aspects involved, specifically on lesson planning, classroom management and teaching skills.
