Internships give you the opportunity to learn about a new field of work, build on existing skills and gain experience while improving your English. A major problem commonly cited by employers is that many graduates do not have the practical skills necessary to excel in the job market. They also feel that the professionalism of students is less than it should be. Internships are valuable to students because it gives them the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real work environments, as well as develop their skills to improve their performance in the work place. Internships greatly increase the chances that a student will gain full time employment after graduation.
