■ Student Orientation Coming to a new school in a new environment can be a lonesome
experience. We understand what it's like to stand alone in a strange
place. Fear not! At Cornerstone we are dedicated to making you feel at
home from your very first day to the very last. Our student orientation
program will help you to become acquainted with our school and the
student life during your first week. We invite you to ask questions and
interact with other students and begin a journey in friendship building
that will last you beyond your stay at Cornerstone. ■ Student ID Card Every student at Cornerstone is entitled to receive an official
Cornerstone student Identification Card. This card will enable you to
receive valuable discounts on many services and activities while
studying in Canada. ■ Transportation Toronto has extensive subway and bus lines to take you where you need
to go fast and easily. A monthly pass will allow you to use the bus,
streetcars and subway without limitations. ■ Homestay
Cornerstone's Canadian homestay program is designed to provide
cultural exposure to Canadian family life in a warm and supportive
environment. It is your home away from home. Your homestay family will
provide you with friendship, care, and an ideal opportunity to use your
English and experience Canadian culture. Cornerstone ensures quality
homestays. ■ Airport Pickup Airport pick-up service is provided from Pearson International
Airport in Toronto. An airport transportation reservation form is
included in each Cornerstone packet. Students must notify us of their
itinerary well in advance. Please note that there is a separate charge
for this service.
