john.jpg My teaching career began in 1993, in Greece, when I taught career officers of various rank and level, while performing my military service. Upon my discharge, I worked at a number of Foreign Language schools in Greece, focusing primarily on the British Council Cambridge Exam preparation (F.C.E, C.A.E., C.P.E.) for 10 years. I returned to Canada in 2003 and have continued to work in this industry in various capacities, including teaching, teacher support, curriculum development and marketing.
My approach to teaching has always been communicative, regardless of the skill being taught. Even learning grammar can actually be fun!

I encourage my students by instilling   in them the belief   that regardless of their level, nationality or personality, they should never be afraid to make mistakes. Go out there, make new friends from around the world, study, attend class regularly, but above all, enjoy yourselves!
