Cornerstone’s ESL program consists of levels from beginner to advanced. We offer two different streams to fit both schedule and budget. The first is 20-hour General ESL, consisting of an integrated skills morning class. The second is 28-hour Intensive ESL, consisting of the morning class and additional afternoon classes, which focus on a wide variety of specializations. Each class is taught by different teachers, giving students exposure to a variety of effective teaching styles.

Our focused curriculum maximizes your potential by using all the latest ESL teaching methodologies. For lower level ESL students, grammar, writing, reading, listening and speaking are allotted separate times for a truly focused teaching, designed to maximize the development of each skill. Students in the intermediate and higher levels take grammar and integrated classes in the morning and select a special elective course in the afternoon. Upon arrival, our placement test is administered to determine the appropriate level. The levels are as following:
